Residential Resources, Inc. has two affiliate companies: Residential Resources Southwest ("RRSW") and Residential Resources Development Corporation ("RRDC"), each Pennsylvania non-profit corporations. RRDC was incorporated in 1992 and was formed as a Community Housing Development Organization ("CHDO") to utilize HUD funding to provide affordable housing to low income, mentally disabled individuals. RRSW was incorporated in 1998 and provides the same services as RRI for individuals in areas outside of Allegheny County. The single family homes and apartments in these corporations are providing housing to almost one thousand people.
RRI, RRSW and RRDC are organized as Pennsylvania nonprofit corporations and have been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt charities under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
