Residential Resources, Inc. (“RRI”) was incorporated in 1988. Before that time the human service agencies funded through the Allegheny County Department of Human Services (“County”) had no assistance or choice in securing housing for the individuals with disabilities they served. The County recognized the need to provide this assistance and, in partnership with leaders in the local banking industry, created an independent non-profit real estate corporation known as Residential Resources, Inc. This model of housing development and services has worked extremely well resulting in the ownership and management by RRI of more than 200 properties. Building on this foundation of more than 20 years of experience RRI is taking a new strategic direction by offering home modification services to individuals and families who are confronted with barriers to living in a home of their choice.
