Residential
Resources, Inc. (“RRI”) was incorporated in 1988
and before that time the human service agencies funded through
the Allegheny County Department of Human Services (“County”)
had no assistance or choice in securing housing for those
disabled individuals they served. The County recognized the
need to provide this assistance and thus, with the partnership
of leaders in the local banking industry, they created an
independent non-profit real

estate
corporation known as Residential Resources, Inc. This
model of housing development and services has worked
extremely well resulting in the ownership and management
by RRI of approximately 200 properties. Building on
this foundation of 19 years of experience RRI is taking
a new strategic direction by offering our housing services
to individuals and families who are confronted with
barriers to living in a home of their choice.
